  1. Turn off the mobile data: If you want your device's battery last longer then you must turn off the mobile data when you don't need it. When mobile data is on, our phone do lots of processes in the background that we don't even know about such as it sync the data of phone with Google account, manages location information, installed apps use the mobile data to send and receive the data, etc. So it is advisable to turn off the mobile data when you don't even need it.
  2. Turn off the location services: Most of the people don't know this but the location services drains the battery of your device than anything else. It searches for the location information in the background all the time, so you better turn off the location services of your smartphone.
  3. Adjust screen brightness: Keeping the screen brightness low can save you the whole lot of battery. Or if you don't want to adjust the screen brightness all the time you can also opt for automatically adjust screen brightness, this will also works.
  4. Use paid apps: In a study it is found that using the paid apps can increase the batter life of our smartphone by 40 to 60%. Actually the paid apps don't use show the ads on your device, which helps in saving the battery and data of the device, whereas the free apps uses the mobile data connection for managing the ads on the device which results in higher CPU load, wastage of data and less battery life.
  5. Restrict background data: As I have told you, your device uses the mobile data connection in the background, well there is a way you can stop the background data which can save you battery and mobile data. To restrict the mobile data follow the steps, open settings and then open data usage>>options>>Restrict background data you are done.
  6. Turn airplane mode on where network signal is low: In the area where the network signal is low/no signal at all our mobile uses the more battery. This is because at the area where network signal is low our device has to repeatedly search for the network signal which increases the no process and thus it sucks up a lot of battery out of our device. So, if we want to save the battery of our phone we should turn on the Airplane Mode.
  7. Keep battery healthy: To keep your battery healthy you must fully drain the battery of your device at least once a month and charge it to the 100% at once without any disturbance. This process will keep the battery of your device healthy. And you should only charge your device when its battery is at most at 30% and charge it to the 100%.
  8. Turn off the WiFi: Turn off the WiFi connection when don't need it. Keeping turn will continuously eat up the battery of your device.
