Learn how to convert Virtual Disk into Basic disk type

Virtual disk is not suitable for installing many operating system such as windows 7/8 and therefore we must have to convert them into basic type before we can install our operating system.
By default the type of disk is basic but when we create and delete partitions multiple time it turn into virtual partition.
We can convert a virtual partition into basic but for it we have to delete all our partitions and convert it into basic.


Steps for converting virtual disk into basic:-





  1. Back up all your data into external source in order to save them.
  2. Open the command prompt into Administrator mode (Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator).
  3. Write Diskpart and press Enter.






  4. Type list disk (this will list out all the available disks)
  5. Now select the disk that you want to convert into basic disk by typing select disk disk_number and press Enter
  6. Now type clean to erase all the partitions or volumes of the disk (skip this step if your disk does not contain any volume).
  7. Then type convert basic.


    8. Tips and Precautions:
    • In windows 8 right click on left-bottom corner and click Command Promp(Admin) to run as Administrator.
    • If you have only single disk(and it contains windows) then you have to boot the system using bootable disk or pendrive then follow the below steps.
        • Boot the system from bootable disk or pendrive
        • Wait until the setup file is loading
        • After loading is completed press SHIFT + F10 ,which will open the command prompt and you can follow the steps given above.
        • This process will delete the Windows installed and you have to install it again.

    What is Artificial Neural Network

      Artificial Neural Networks are the algorithmic replication of the working of biological neural network. Artificial neural network is consists of finite number of interconnected nodes, i.e. from few hundred to few thousand, each nodes has their own value, which is called as ‘weight’.
