Sony is rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its mid-range Xperia M smartphone. The latest update takes the build version to 15.4.A.0.23 and comes with a bunch of new
features and enhancements.
The newest firmware comes with an updated camera interface and brings
burst and superior auto shooting modes. There is also a new version of
battery STAMINA mode that will now help the battery last longer than
before.
The Android 4.3 build also comes with enhanced security features, user
interface and graphics. Sony's multimedia apps - Walkman, Album and
Movies have also been updated.
The new update has the following improvements to be mentioned
-change in interface, black goes white(in settings and some widgets)
-new app drawer, better than before with 5 rows(than before 4 rows)
-enhanced performance
-more free ram(better multitasking)
-multiple small apps can run at once
-redesigned task manager
-updates to some sony apps
-new camera interface
-improved camera quality, with auto scene selection, improved image stabilisation
-better 3d effects on homescreen
Overall we can say that the 4.3 update is a very major update to xperia m but still we wont be able to move apps to sd card, thats only thing which upsates.
The new firmware is already rolling out across Europe and Asia.Although the 4.3 update is not available everywhere but it is expected to roll out soon. You can check the availability of the update by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates > System updates. Alternatively, you can also download the Android 4.3 firmware and update your device using the Sony PC Companion.
